One price. Every source shown.
Every card on Card Club gets one guide price in Australian dollars. It's worked out from what the card has actually sold for here, plus the big market price sites, and you can see every number that went into it and how old it is.
Where the numbers come fromThe sources
Card Club sales
What the card really sold for on Card Club, online and at shows, over the last 180 days. We use the middle price once there are at least 3 sales, so one odd sale can't drag it around. This counts the most, and more sales count more.
Collectr
Collectr's market price for that exact card, print and grade. Converted from US dollars where needed.
TCGplayer
TCGplayer's US market price for raw English and Japanese cards, converted to AUD. It counts the least because it's a US price, not an Aussie one.
Not counted: asking prices
The prices stores have cards listed at are shown on the card page, but they never move the guide. They're what people want, not what sold.
How it's worked outThe weighting
Fresher counts more
A price from the last 30 days counts in full. From 1 to 3 months old it counts a bit over half. Older than that, under a third.
Wrong matches get dropped
When there are three or more sources and one is more than three times off the others, it's left out (usually a different print got matched). It still shows, crossed out, so you can see it.
Confidence
High means 5 or more Card Club sales, or two sources within 25% of each other. Medium means two sources, or some Card Club sales. Low means one outside source only.
Graded cards
A PSA 10 is priced on PSA 10 numbers only. TCGplayer is raw only, so graded guides come from Card Club sales and Collectr.
It's a guide, not a promise.
Condition, centring and demand on the day all move what a card sells for. Spot a price that looks wrong? Email hello@cardclub.com.au with the card.
