1Find a card

The market is one search across every Card Club vendor.

  • Search how you'd say it. The name, the number, or both: charizard ex 151, OP05-119, umbreon vmax.
  • Narrow it down. Filter by game, singles, graded or sealed, and language. Pick Pokémon and English, Japanese and Chinese are always there to choose from. Sort by price. The filters fold away as you scroll so the cards get the screen, and come back when you scroll up or tap Filters.
  • Pick a set. Once you've chosen a game, a set list appears with how many cards each set has in stock right now, biggest first. Choose one to see only that set.
  • Share what you found. Your filters are in the link, so "all the Chinese Stellar Crystal cards" can be sent to a mate as is.
  • Grid or list. Grid shows big photos, list is quicker for comparing prices. Your phone remembers which you like.
  • Read the name. Reverse holo and 1st Edition copies say so in the name, and graded cards show the grade.
  • One vendor's stock. Tap their name, or open their store link, to see everything they have.
  • Prices. Vendors set their own prices in Aussie dollars. Where you see a market price, it's shown in AUD first with the US price in brackets, e.g. A$63.75 (US$42.50).

2Buy online

  1. Add to cart from any vendor with Buy now on. Cards from the same vendor go in one parcel with postage charged once.
  2. Pay by card through Stripe. The money goes straight to the vendor. Pick postage: tracked, sometimes a cheap letter for raw singles, express, or pickup at their table.
  3. Track it. You're emailed when it's posted, with a tracking link. Your orders has everything.
  • Forgot something? Buy from the same vendor again within 72 hours and it rides along in the same parcel, no extra postage.
  • Sold at the table first? If a vendor sells your card in person at the same moment, you're refunded automatically.
  • Got it? Rate the order. "As described" ratings are what build a vendor's rank.

3Holds and offers

  • Hold: ask the vendor to put a card aside for the next show you're both at. It lands on their phone straight away. It's first in best dressed until they confirm, so get there quick.
  • Offer: name your price. The vendor accepts, counters or passes. Some accept instantly at a level they've set. If they accept, you can pay online at that price.
  • Not going to make it? Let them know. Repeat no-shows count against your rank.

4Trade your cards

Some vendors take trades. Put cards from your collection toward one of theirs, top up any gap in cash, and swap in person.

  • Find a card that takes trades. It has a Trade for this button next to Make an offer.
  • Pick your cards. Trades come from your Card Club collection, so sign in and add or import your cards first. Each card counts at the vendor's trade rate, usually around 70% of today's market value, and you see what each one is worth before you send.
  • Watch the bar fill. It shows how much of the price your cards cover. Anything left is paid in cash at the swap. Going over is fine, the vendor decides what to do with it.
  • Send it. Add your name and a phone number or Instagram. The vendor can accept, or keep only some of your cards and ask for the rest in cash.
  • Swap in person. If they accept, the card is held for you. Bring your cards to their table or shop. They check condition when you swap, so values assume near mint.
  • Trades are in person only. Nothing is posted, so nobody has to send first.

5At a show

  • Search the whole room. Every show on Card Club has its own search, with the table number on every card. Find it before you walk the floor.
  • Scan the table QR. When a table's packed, scan their sign and browse their whole stock on your phone.
  • Pay how you like. Vendors take cash, PayID, their own card reader, or a Card Club QR you pay on your phone. Ask for an emailed receipt.

6Card library

The card library has every set, card by card, whether you own it or not.

  • Pick a game and language. Pokémon in English, Japanese or Chinese, plus One Piece, Dragon Ball Fusion World, Dragon Ball Masters, Dragon Ball Z, Lorcana and Yu-Gi-Oh!.
  • Browse the sets. Newest first, with the three best cards from each set showing on the row. Type a name or code (Surging Sparks, OP09, CSV10C) to jump to one.
  • Open a set to see every card with its picture, number, rarity and market price in AUD, most valuable first (switch to card number order if you like). Cards a vendor has right now show a Buy link with the price.
  • Signed in? You'll see how much of each set you have. Tap + to add a card to your collection, or the star to want it.

7Your collection

Collection is free. Sign in with your email, no password.

  1. Bring your cards. Import your Collectr export in seconds, or add cards from any set in the card library, English, Japanese or Chinese. Cards you buy on Card Club are added for you.
  2. Watch the value. Today's market price in Australian dollars, what you paid, and a chart that moves daily.

8Finish a set

The part we're proudest of. Card Club matches every vendor's stock against the cards you're missing.

  1. Open a set under Sets, or any set at all in the card library. You'll see how many you have, what's left, what the rest is worth, and how many are on Card Club right now.
  2. Got one in your hand? Tap + on the card and it's in your collection. Undo if you tapped the wrong one.
  3. Missing cards a vendor has show a Buy button with the best price. Filter to "On Card Club" to see just those.
  4. Star the rest, or tap "Complete my set" to want them all. Add an "I'd buy it fast at" price if you like. Vendors stocking that card see someone wants it (never your name or email), and you're pinged the moment one is listed.
Deals for you on your collection page lists cards you want that vendors have right now, with the ones at or under your price at the top.

9Sell to a vendor

  1. List it once at Sell a card. Find the card, add a real photo of the front (back helps on raw cards), your asking price or leave it open.
  2. Offers come to you privately. You see the shop, its rank and rating, the amount, and whether they'll cover tracked postage or it's on you. See how many vendors want a card before you even list it.
  3. Pick one, or none. Get paid through Card Club (protected, 2.5%, any postage they offered comes with your payout) or sort it directly with the vendor, post it or meet at a show.

10Alerts and the app

  • Search alerts. Searched for something nobody has? Set an alert and we email you when it turns up. Manage them in Your alerts.
  • Add it to your home screen and Card Club opens like an app. On iPhone: in Safari tap •••, Share, Add to Home Screen (older iPhones: the Share button). On Android: tap Install.

11Buying safely

  • Ranks. Vendors and buyers level up with clean deals: Raw, Sleeved, Toploaded, Graded 9, Gem Mint 10, Black Label. The badge shows next to their name.
  • Real photos. Listings say whether the photo is of the actual card or the standard catalogue image. Ask the vendor for more photos of anything you're unsure about.
  • PSA cert checked. PSA slabs with this badge have had their cert number checked with PSA by Card Club.
  • Card payments go through Stripe directly to the seller. Card Club never holds your card details.

12FAQ

Does it cost anything?

No. Browsing, holds, offers, alerts and your collection are free for buyers.

Who am I buying from?

Independent Aussie card sellers. Card Club doesn't own any stock. Each vendor sets their own prices and looks after their own sales.

Do I need an account?

Not to browse or buy. Your collection, sell listings and ranks use a simple email sign-in with a 6 digit code.

Can I buy and track Chinese cards?

Yes. Pick Pokémon and Chinese in the market or the card library. The Chinese card list covers the Simplified Chinese sets, including Gem Packs and the newest releases, with pictures and market prices.

Why do prices show A$ and US$?

Market prices come from US sales, so we convert them to Aussie dollars and show the US figure in brackets. The price a vendor charges is always in AUD.

The page is blank on my phone

Pull down to refresh. On a weak signal it retries by itself and shows Try again if it still can't load.

Something's wrong with an order

Contact the vendor first (their details are on your order). If you can't sort it, email hello@cardclub.com.au.
