eBay and Card Club

Sell on eBay? Bring it all across.

Bring your eBay listings into Card Club, connect your eBay account so nothing sells twice, and send your Card Club cards out to eBay in a few taps. Use whichever parts you need.

The quick way.

Open My store, then Vendor view, then Connect eBay. Everything below is in that one box.

Part A · Card ClubBring your eBay listings in

Card Club reads your live Buy It Now listings on eBay AU and matches each one to the right card, with your own photos and prices.

1

Open Connect eBay

Sign in at cardclub.com.au/sellers/login. On My store tap Connect eBay in the setup steps, or open Vendor view and tap Connect eBay in the row of buttons next to Shopify.

2

Tap Bring in my eBay listings

Type your eBay seller name. It's the name on your eBay profile, the bit after ebay.com.au/usr/ in your profile link. Tap Import from eBay.

3

Check and publish

The Lister matches every listing and shows anything it isn't sure about. Fix those, then publish to your store.

4

It stays in step by itself

Every hour Card Club checks eBay. A listing that sells or ends on eBay comes off Card Club. New eBay listings show up next time you tap Refresh my eBay listings.

Part B · eBay sign inConnect your account so nothing sells twice

Part A keeps Card Club in step with eBay. Part B does the other direction: when a card sells on Card Club, Card Club ends the eBay listing for you (or drops the quantity if you have more than one).

5

Tap Connect eBay

In the same Connect eBay box, tap the green Connect eBay button. You go to eBay's own sign in page.

6

Sign in and tap Agree

Sign in to eBay as normal and agree to let Card Club manage your listings. eBay sends you back to Card Club and the button changes to eBay: your-name.

Card Club never sees your eBay password. eBay hands over a key that only lets Card Club end listings and change prices on your account, and you can switch it off any time with Disconnect eBay, or from eBay under Account, Third party app access.

Part C · Day to dayPrices and photos

Change a price once

Edit the price on a card that came from eBay and tick Also change the price on eBay. Both change together. Leave it unticked and only Card Club changes.

Your eBay photos or Card Club ones

When you bring listings in, tick Use my eBay photos to keep your eBay pictures and have them follow any change you make on eBay. Leave it off and any photo you've added on Card Club stays.

What it costs

Nothing extra. Your eBay fees stay as they are for eBay sales. A sale on Card Club is the normal 5% a card, capped at $50.

Auctions

Only Buy It Now listings come across. Auctions stay on eBay.

Part D · Card Club to eBayList your Card Club cards on eBay

The other direction: cards you loaded on Card Club (Collectr, Shopify or by hand) go up on your eBay. Singles and slabs for now, sealed coming.

7

Pick your eBay postage and returns, once

In Vendor view, eBay, under List your Card Club cards on eBay, choose your eBay postage and returns policies and a markup. eBay's fees are around 13%, so 10% over your Card Club price is the default. Card Club stays the cheaper place to buy.

No policies on eBay yet? In eBay go to Seller Hub, Account, Business policies and make one for postage and one for returns.

8

Test one, then list

Tap Test one first and eBay checks a card without listing it, so you see the title and any problem. Then List on eBay sends every card that matches your filters (a minimum value, and only cards with your own photos if you like).

Just one card? Open it on My store and tap List on eBay, with the eBay price already worked out.

Sold on Card Club

Card Club ends the eBay listing straight away, or takes one off the quantity if you have more.

Sold on eBay

Within the hour it comes off Card Club and your phone buzzes. Ended a listing on eBay yourself? The card stays on Card Club.

Changing prices

Change the Card Club price with Also change the price on eBay ticked and the eBay price follows, with your markup on top.

Taking one off eBay

Open the card on My store and tap End on eBay. It stays on Card Club. Removing a card from Card Club ends it on eBay too.

Stuck?The things that go wrong

I can't see Connect eBay

Close Card Club and open it again, or pull down to refresh. If you're staff on someone else's store, only the owner sees it.

"No live listings found"

Check the seller name is the one on your eBay profile, not your email or shop name, and that you have Buy It Now listings live on eBay AU.

eBay signed Card Club out

eBay asks for a fresh sign in now and then, or if you changed your eBay password. Tap Connect eBay again.

Still stuck

Email hello@cardclub.com.au with your eBay seller name and a screenshot of the message. Never send your eBay password.

That's it.

One stock, two places to sell, and nothing sold twice.
